If you’re looking to stay close to the slopes then the Hotel Du Col will fit the bill. You can walk to the nearest lift in just one minute from the hotel, and you’re right in the village centre, so everything else is on your doorstep too.
The rooms have a modern feel, with simple, white walls and colourful prints of the Italian Alps to add a dash of mountain-inspired style. Downstairs, they’ve kept things more traditional in the bar and lounge. Knick-knacks and photos from days gone by are dotted around, and there are armchairs and sofas where you sit back and sip an afternoon tea or coffee.
Regional specialities are on the menu in the hotel restaurant each evening, and wine, water and soft drinks are included – perfect for refuelling post-ski. After your meal, wander downstairs to enjoy drinks and music in the hotel’s lively pub before heading to bed..
