You’ll be welcomed into Hotel San Giovanni with open arms. This small and friendly family-run hotel has an ideal location 20 metres away from the ski lift. It’ll connect you to the Carosello gondola and you can ski almost all the way back to the hotel. The centre of Livigno is around two kilometres and easy to get to on the free resort bus that also goes to the lifts for the Mottolino side of the mountain.

Once you get back from the slopes, the hotel has a lounge area and cosy bar for a post-ski drink. The bar’s open to the public so there is a good après atmosphere. If you’re a little peckish, treat yourself to a snack from the hotel’s pizzeria. The hotel is bed and breakfast but we recommend eating in their restaurant at least a few times. They serve traditional Italian meals and have very good wine cellar.
