Serre Chevalier serves up sunny weather and lots of varied terrain – from wooded runs lower down to powder-filled bowls near the mountaintops. Each of the four villages has direct lifts up to the slopes, with valley runs that you can ski back down later. Three of the villages have nursery areas, and the rest of the 250km area is mostly blues and reds. Plus, there’s an Olympic black too.
