Built in 1928, Hotel Mooserkreuz was one of St Anton’s oldest guesthouses – converted to a hotel in 1949 it is now a great starting point for an excellent ski holiday in the Arlberg.
The Mooserkreuz is a family-run hotel with a traditional and relaxed atmosphere. The decor fuses old and new nicely, with lots of attention to detail. There’s an indoor pool and small wellness area plus the food has a great reputation. Quality ingredients – well presented.
The location is an interesting one. It’s a wee bit out of town and away from lifts, but for keen and experienced skiers and après skiers that might not be a bad thing. In fact it is a fairly short walk down to a couple of pistes – red or blue – for your first runs each morning. Or they have a shuttle bus and the ski bus stops virtually outside. Also it’s ideal for people want to experience the fantastic on slope après that St Anton is famous for – including the world famous Mooserwirt and Krazy Kanguruh – both within walking distance.
