Sainte Foy - The Skiing and Snowboarding
The uncrowded ski lift system takes you from 1550m right up to 2620m and due to Ste Foy’s north-west facing slopes and sheltered location the snow remains in excellent condition. Ste Foy pistes are beautifully and lovingly prepared and are without the usual crowds common in larger resorts; so the snow remains in top condition all day long.

The lower slopes in Ste Foy offer wonderful sweeping ski runs through the trees while the upper slopes provide truly breathtaking descents, both on and off-piste. You can explore tree-lined greens, gentle blues, wide and fast reds and challenging blacks. For beginners, there are now two adult and children's nursery slopes so you can slowly build your confidence up. Sainte Foy is an awesome destination for snowboarders, with a huge variety of uncrowded terrain, and slopes to choose from and few flat areas.
There are 3 main chairlifts serving each of the principle pisted areas as well as 3 more drag lifts for the beginner & nursery ski slopes. This may seem a small number of lifts but they are under utilised (so, no queues!) and provide easy access to the vast on-and off-piste ski and snowboard area.
Sainte Foy is also famous for off-piste terrain. Skiers, boarders and telemarkers alike will revel in the powder just yards from the pistes or amongst the trees, which lasts for days thanks to its north-west facing slopes.

New Chair Lift Installed To Enlarge the Resort
Our small, exclusive resort of Sainte Foy is getting bigger. A new, high speed, six man, chairlift lift is being built in time for the start of the 06/07 ski season. The concurrent construction of the new ski lift will serve to double the on piste ski area and improve access to the off piste around the Marquise ridge, Fogliettaz and Monal.
The 6 seater detachable chairlift starts at Charmettes 1850m and ends below the Marquise ridge 2425m. It is a 1768m and takes 6 minutes to ride and will carry up to 1800 skiers and boarders per hour. The new lift will create two new pistes Grande Solliet blue piste and Fogliettaz red piste.
