The Mara is a charming Austrian chalet with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideally situated for families in a quiet location with lovely mountain views, and conveniently close to Kapruns pictureque village centre. The Mara offers comfortable, traditionally styled accommodation throughout, with stylish, well-appointed bedrooms and modern fitted bathrooms and won a Mumsnet Best award in 2008. The bright and airy dining-room, overlooking the back garden, sets the scene for our tasty and convivial chalet dining, and there is a seperate lounge with TV and fridge for guest use.

Children and staff from the chalets own in-house nursery eat lunch here, which is all cleared away ready for peckish parents to return home for an enjoyable afternoon tea.

The free use of the Optimum swimming-pool, sauna and steam room is available to all guests booking a lift pass with us, and is valid for a maximum of 2 adults per family, plus any number of dependent children.
