Meribel Nantgerel In the rustic hamlet of Nantgerel, 2.5 kilometres from Meribel les Allues, Chalet Casse Noix is almost opposite Chalet Danielle. Access to the skiing is via the mid station of the Olympe Gondola (a 700 metre walk away along the main mountain road). Alternatively, the free ski bus that stops 40 metres (approx) from the chalet will take you to Meribel centre (where there are ski lockers) in 10 minutes. The bus service is limited in the evening, but there is a good local bar/restaurant 480 metres (approx) walk away.

This delightful chalet, once a barn, has been beautifully renovated by its owners into very comfortable accommodation with all rooms en suite. Attractively furnished in pale pine and stone, the spacious open-plan living/dining room on the top floor makes a wonderful setting in which to take your meals and relax for the evening. It boasts exposed beams, an open fireplace and large picture windows leading out onto the balcony, which has magnificent views across the Meribel Valley.
