Chamonix

One of the prettiest Alpine resorts in France, Chamonix is the daddy of Freeride with steep, challenging, long runs at high altitude making it snow sure... & of course has the world famous Vallee Blanche glacier run among its dramatic landscape. Off-piste skiing accounts for a huge part of the appeal here, where mountain guides are plenty & are on hand to show off the best this area has to offer.

A Chamonix ski holiday is something which should be on the radar of every serious snowsport enthusiast. Sitting at the foot of Mont Blanc, Western Europe's highest mountain, this traditional Alpine town has five main areas all linked by a great shuttle bus service. The full area pass also covers a days skiing in Courmayeur in Italy, just over the border, where one can enjoy some of the best Italian skiing for the day.

Off the slopes, Chamonix has a great range of sports & leisure facilities and an unrivalled nightlife in a lively atmosphere is always nearby... This vibrant town with plenty to offer makes a Chamonix ski holiday a highly recommended option to be seriously considered.
